ALL COURSES
Discover our range of practical and well-structured courses. Each training is developed with real-world experience in mind and focuses on building the skills you actually need.
COURSE PROGRAM
Our courses are built in a logical progression, starting with the essentials and developing step by step. Each module connects theory with real-life scenarios, guided by experienced submersible pilots. Their hands-on insights ensure that what you learn reflects daily practice, not just the manual.
Introduction

Pilot Introduction
The Introduction Pilot Course is a one-day program designed to provide a hands-on introduction to operating a submersible. The day begins with pre-dive preparations, followed by one or more dives, and concludes with post-dive procedures, offering participants a overview of submersible operations.

Supervised Pilot
The Supervised Pilot Training prepares participants to operate a submersible under the direct supervision of a trained pilot. The training begins with theoretical instruction but primarily focuses on safe submersible operations underwater.
Operational Courses

Surface Officer
In the Surface Officer Training participants learn to oversee, monitor, and support submersible operations from the surface. The program begins with theoretical foundations, followed by practical, hands-on training.

Pilot
Pilot training allows you to operate a submersible independently with a trained S.O. on the surface. You will learn the submersible's construction, advanced maneuvering, safety measures, and basic maintenance (STL o).

Chief Pilot
The Chief Pilot training is tailored for pilots, offering comprehensive in-depth submersible mechanics, electronics, and advanced safety and maneuvering procedures. Completion of the STL1 technical course is required to obtain the certificate. No prior experience is needed.
Additional Operational Courses

Cross-over Surface Officer
This course covers the specifics of a UBW to UBW submersible to ensure safe operations as an S.O., including both theory and practical training.

Cross-Over Pilot
The Cross-Over Pilot course teaches the operational, diving specifics, and safety aspects of another UBW submersible. Transitioning from PPC to CPC requires separate STL1 training.

Refresher Surface Officer
This refresher course is for S.O.s whose certificate has expired within two years of the expiration date.

Refresher Pilot
This refresher course is for pilots, including PPS and CPC, whose certificate has expired within two years of the expiration date.
Special Operational Courses

Search And Rescue (SAR) Course
The specialized Search and Rescue training equips CPC Pilots with the expertise to perform Search and Rescue operations effectively and to coordinate these missions from topside.

Multi-Sub Course
The specialized Multi-sub training course enables the CPC pilots to become skilled in multi-sub operations and coordinate these operations from topside.
Technical Courses

Sub Load Master
Learn to work with and perform basic maintenance on the specific submersible. This includes Launch and recovery operations, recharging of different systems, (deep)cleaning, and lashing.

Sub Tech Level 1
The STL 1 training equips you to perform basic troubleshooting and repairs independently when the issue is not critical, as well as to handle more critical repairs in collaboration with UBW or by following the provided manuals.
